Have a child who loves all things art? Have them join us for a class filled with a variety of mediums and projects that combine all their favorite skills! Projects will consist of drawing, painting, collage, clay, and more. Students can repeat class, as we will cover new projects!

Each class will start by drawing, this will strengthen the artist's drawing fundamentals which helps with all mediums. The artist will paint with a variety of materials and our clay section will be introduced in the last weeks of the session.

Come learn how to embroider with us! Students will begin this intensive by learning the different stitches with hands-on guidance from the Teaching Artist. The remaining classes will entail each student to pick a personal project(s) to work on using their imagination and creativity. From flowers to animals to characters, there is so much to pick from! This class is for beginners but any experience level is welcome. Students are welcome to bring their own specialty supplies but all of the basic supplies will be provided!

It’s starting to get cold outside and the animals are preparing to hibernate over the winter! Come make some art with us to celebrate their hard work before they dig in for the rest of the year. Students will create work exploring animals such as bears, foxes, groundhogs, squirrels, and more!

In this skill-building class, young artists will learn essential drawing and painting techniques to further develop their artistic skills. Students will create a well-developed set of work through learning concepts such as perspective, shading, color theory, and more. This class is perfect for those students ready to step up their art skills and create more in-depth artwork!

Putting an emphasis on the importance of tactile exploration and hand-eye coordination development in this young age group, each class will be an introduction to different materials and different ways you can create with them! We will explore drawing, painting, mixed media and clay. In each class we will work on two art projects with a break in between in order to enable kids to get their giggles out and be able to regain their focus and energy for the second half of the class. Make sure your artist packs a snack and water!

Students will use the time to work with their choice of material to create art that is representative of their skills and interests, whether that be in drawing, painting, clay, etc. Through a continuation of their own artistic pursuits, this class is perfect for any teen out there hoping to expand their portfolio into a well-rounded resource.

From pinch pots to coils to slabs, there is so much to learn how to make with clay! In this introduction to ceramics class, young students learn the fun of working with clay and are exposed to a variety of techniques. Students can repeat the class as new projects will be taught!

This class is designed for those young artists who want to learn the process of designing characters and world building. Students will use their story-telling skills to create a flushed out character and world for them to live in!

Come learn to throw on the wheel with us! Learn introductory wheel throwing techniques to create cups, bowls, plates and more. Projects will place emphasis on student planning design, surface decoration, and the incorporation of handbuilding techniques.

Come explore the history of art with us! Students will not only learn about a new art movement every week with a brief lesson but they will also get to try it out on their own using a variety of mediums! Artists will learn new skills and mediums with painting, drawing, and clay alongside learning where these techniques and styles originated from. Any experience level artist is welcome and no experience needed in art history as we will have our own fun lessons each week! At least 1 parent must be registered alongside child(ren) in order to attend the class.

Come create alongside your child in this fun clay handbuilding class! Projects will vary each week and will expose students to new techniques and tricks. Any experience level is welcome as long as you bring your imagination! At least 1 parent must be registered alongside child(ren) in order to attend the class.
