This is a continued class for those who have taken the first Beginner Watercolors class! In this 7-week class, students will dive further into the wonderful world of watercolors. We will explore painting objects from life as well as how to paint a landscape from start to finish. The same supply list from the first class applies to this one as well, with some materials provided by the studio. This course is open to all levels, though basics will be the focus point of the class!

Come learn to throw on the wheel with us! Learn introductory wheel throwing techniques to create cups, bowls, plates and more, with an introduction of other techniques like attachments and surface decoration. Students will be allowed to have Open Studio outside of class time, with more information sent out before class begins.
First class must be attended for new students!
One bag of clay is included in the class price but any additional clay needed must be provided by the student. Basic glazes will be provided by the studio for student use.

Come learn how to embroider with us! Students will begin this intensive by learning the different stitches with hands-on guidance from the Teaching Artist. The remaining classes will entail each student to pick a personal project(s) to work on using their imagination and creativity. From flowers to animals to characters, there is so much to pick from! This class is for beginners but any experience level is welcome. Supplies will be provided! Class is repeatable for students to continue their embroidery journey.

Come learn to hand build with us! Students will be exposed to a variety of processes such as pinch pots, coils, and slabs to create their own hand built ceramic artwork. Glazing will be explained, as well as some other surface treatments. Students will have access to Open Studio to continue their practice outside of class!
First class must be attended for new students!
One bag of clay is included in the class price but any additional clay needed must be provided by the student. Basic glazes will be provided by the studio and students are allowed to provide their own low-fire glazes if they wish.

In this 7-week course, students will become familiar with the basics of acrylic painting. Beginning the class with color mixing, students will then choose a reference image to recreate on the canvas. Students will use the 7 weeks to create 1-3 paintings, depending on size and complexity. The studio will provide all materials, but students may bring their own to use. Reference images must be a physical copy (i.e. printed out or a hard copy) and brought with students to class. This course is open to all levels, though basics will be the focal point of the class! Students can repeat class.

Continue your Wheel Throwing journey with us in this Intermediate class! This course is designed for intermediate students who have a solid foundation in basic wheel throwing skills and are looking to grow their craft further. Projects can include lidded jars, altered forms, throwing off the hump, surface decoration techniques, and more.
Students will be allowed to have Open Studio outside of class time, with more information sent out before class begins. One bag of clay is included in the class price but any additional clay needed must be provided by the student. Basic glazes will be provided by the studio for student use.

Do you do better creating with others alongside you? Looking for some artistic guidance as you work? Come create with us alongside other amazing artists and get guidance from your Teaching Artist! Students will get to choose their project(s) to work on in class, whether that be trying a new medium or continuing a project. Mediums can include watercolors, acrylics, pencil, oil pastel, printmkaing, collage, charcoal, and more! Some materials can be provided by the studio but students are also encouraged to use their own.

Previous wheel throwing students can come have access to the Clay Studio and use the facility to create their own pottery pieces. Students will have access to the wheels and other tools in the studio, as well as the kiln to fire their pieces alongside other classes’ work. This class is not for production making and will not be allowed in the studio due to size limit and kiln capacity. Clay and low-fire glazes must be provided by students.
A bag of clay can be purchased alongside registration but any additional clay needed must be provided by the student. White, Clear, and Black basic glazes will be provided by the studio and students are allowed to provide their own low-fire glazes if they wish.
