Each class will start by drawing, this will strengthen the artist's drawing fundamentals which helps with all mediums. The artist will paint with a variety of materials and our clay section will be introduced in the last weeks of the session.

Come learn how to embroider with us! Students will begin this intensive by learning the different stitches with hands-on guidance from the Teaching Artist. The remaining classes will entail each student to pick a personal project(s) to work on using their imagination and creativity. From flowers to animals to characters, there is so much to pick from! This class is for beginners but any experience level is welcome. All supplies will be provided!

In this class, young children and their caregivers will engage in art activities together! Every work of art will require a collaboration between both grown up and child as the adult assists with the more challenging tasks, like cutting with scissors for example. This is a great opportunity to spend quality time together with having fun, creating, and learning new skills! Please register adult & child at the same time. Adult does not have to be a parent - can be a caregiver.

Putting an emphasis on the importance of tactile exploration and hand-eye coordination development in this young age group, each class will be an introduction to different materials and different ways you can create with them! We will explore drawing, painting, mixed media and clay. In each class we will work on two art projects with a break in between in order to enable kids to get their giggles out and be able to regain their focus and energy for the second half of the class. Make sure your artist packs a snack and water!

Students will not only learn about a new art movement every week with a brief lesson but they will also get to try it out on their own using a variety of mediums! Artists will learn new skills and mediums with painting, drawing, and clay alongside learning where these techniques and styles originated from. Any experience level artist is welcome and no experience needed in art history as we will have our own fun lessons each week! At least 1 parent must be registered alongside child(ren) in order to attend the class.
