This is a continued class for those who have taken the first Beginner Watercolors class! In this 9-week class, students will dive further into the wonderful world of watercolors. We will explore painting objects from life as well as how to paint a landscape from start to finish. The same supply list from the first class applies to this one as well, with some materials provided by the studio. This course is open to all levels, though basics will be the focus point of the class!

Come learn how to embroider with us! Students will begin this intensive by learning the different stitches with hands-on guidance from the Teaching Artist. The remaining classes will entail each student to pick a personal project(s) to work on using their imagination and creativity. From flowers to animals to characters, there is so much to pick from! This class is for beginners but any experience level is welcome. Supplies will be provided! Class is repeatable for students to continue their embroidery journey.

In this 9-week course, students will become familiar with the basics of acrylic painting. Beginning the class with color mixing, students will then choose a reference image to recreate on the canvas. Students will use the 9 weeks to create 1-4 paintings, depending on size and complexity. The studio will provide all materials, but students may bring their own to use. Reference images must be a physical copy (i.e. printed out or a hard copy) and brought with students to class. This course is open to all levels, though basics will be the focal point of the class! Students can repeat class.

Continue your watercolor journey with us in this next level watercolor class! This class will expand upon what was learned in both parts of the Beginner Watercolors classes. You will learn how to paint reflective objects, like class and metal, as well as dive into more complicated versions of still lifes, landscapes, and more. Previous wheel throwing students can come have access to the Clay Studio and use the facility to create their own pottery pieces. Students will have access to the wheels and other tools in the studio, as well as the kiln to fire their pieces alongside other classes’ work. This class is not for production making and will not be allowed in the studio due to size limit and kiln capacity. Clay (unless purchased from us) and low-fire glazes must be provided by students.
